Every once in awhile when I’m looking for endangered flowers I’ll come across one that takes my breath away. The Virginia spiraea is one of those flowers. I had to come up with a number of innovations to translate this amazing flower into paper, from wooden bead buds to sewing thread stamen. This unique flower is so adorable I just had to share it with you.

Supply List

  1. 18 gauge floral wire
  2. 22 gauge floral wire
  3. white thread
  4. wooden beads
  5. white floral tape
  6. 8.5 in. x 11 printer paper
  7. 8.5 in. x 11 in Rice Paper or printer paper
  8. 8.5 in. x 11 in transparent vellum or printer paper
  9. white hand painted tissue paper
